an ode to the hellebore

I'm quite infatuated with Hellebores these days, and luckily for me they do grow like crazy here in Washington State! Slowly, but surely I keep adding plant after plant to my cutting garden.

This arrangement includes - hellebores, fritillaria, quince, ferns, akebia vine and pieris japonica. All flowers gathered in Seattle & Arlington, Washington.

Summer Floral Inspiration

Who else is looking forward to longer and warmer days?? I know I am!
Summer also means Wedding Season AND lots of flowers!

Here's a pretty summer wedding we designed, I love Jenna's floral archway, bouquets and centerpieces!
Jenna carried a hand-tied bouquet of Picasso Calla Lilies, plum and white Ranunculus, white hydrangea, Panda anemones; her bridesmaids carried wine colored hand tied bouquets of purple lisianthus, wine dahlias, anemones and ranunculus.
Jenna & Scott married under a lush floral archway of rich green foliages, white China mums, burgundy dahlias, purple lisianthus and white snowberries-

We decorated the reception tent with elevated vases holding arrangements of white hydrangeas, purple lisianthus, Picasso Calla lilies, burgundy dahlias, purple stock and purple tulips. The center of the rectangle table was decorated with silver mercury glass vases, moss balls, and candles-

I love Spring Flowers! - Seattle, Washington

Today while I was out for my daily walk I noticed little bits of spring starting to show themselves! I saw a tree with little pink blossoms starting to bud and a little grove of narcissus poking up from the dirt. I love watching spring starting to unfold, it's my favorite season!
Before we know it we will see bunches of daffodils and tulips - I can hardly wait!!

If you are a bride planning a wedding here in the Pacific Northwest and need flowers we would love to chat with you!
